The reward pouch is attached to the wood with Velcro and hook-and-loop fasteners.
The wood and the bag can be used separately.
When the dog is to point out a piece of wood, the treat bag is placed underneath it. With a little practice, when you lift the object and open the bag, the treat will fall out and underneath the wood. This helps to focus the dog's attention on the object or the ground. The treat doesn't come directly from your hand, but from underneath the object.
In the initial phase, the treat bag can be used to provide immediate confirmation in connection with the object.
This is just one possible use.
There are various colors available: red, green, brown, blue, black.
Different types of wood are used.
The inner leather is smooth, so that it is possible to wash the bag and thus prevent persistent odor build-up inside.
